Macrison was approached by Emerdyn to undertake a full marketing audit on their business. The audit identified that from a marketing perspective it had great products and a rich and newsworthy narrative. What was also identified was a weak brand presence and poor corporate identity. There was also a lack of marketing and sales in almost every element of their day to day processes. It was identified that with the right marketing and sales culture to complement an already outstanding engineering culture, Emerdyn will greatly increase its market share.

Recommendation 1: Implement CRM into all aspects of Emerdyn’s operations.

Recommendation 2: Implement a sales program built around a consultative and relationship selling model

Recommendation 3: Define and articulate Emerdyn’s Unique Selling Propositions and business narrative

Recommendation 4: Refresh and modernise the visual representation of the Emerdyn Brand.

Recommendation 5: Refresh and rebuild a user friendly highly functional website

Recommendation 6: Develop and implement a revised advertising, events and sponsorship program

Recommendation 7: Develop and implement an appropriate PR and Social Media program

Recommendation 8: Put in place appropriate written collateral to properly represent the company and its products.

All recommendations were adopted and the client is going through a phased launch to this new marketing and sales paradigm.
