Our Service Culture:
Every member of the Macrison team understands that our customer service is what sets us apart!
Our owner, founder and Managing Director; Joan MacDougal is passionate about doing what’s right for everyone. Joan’s philosophy in all business differs from traditional view of ‘maximising shareholder wealth’! Clearly the recent Global Financial Crisis has demonstrated a flaw in this philosophy!
Our logo symbolizes our service philosophy
Our simple philosophy is this:
‘Maximise all stakeholder wealth!’
Our stakeholders are:
- Our customers
- Our employees
- Our suppliers
- Our shareholders
- Our local, state and national community
- our environment, our planet
We have three service philosophy pillars – they are:
- A grounded and solid work ethic: We will do whatever it takes to meet the needs and expectations of our customers. There is no hierarchy or status in Macrison that precludes any team member rolling up their sleeves and getting in and helping each other in the service of our customers!
- To always be commercially and socially responsible: This applies to everything we do! WE ARE in business to make money, WE ARE NOT in business to rip people off, or to price such that it puts our customers into financial distress. WE ARE NOT in business to undertake any activity that is socially irresponsible, no matter the client or the financial reward. It may sound cliche or a very high ideal but Macrison strives for a win win outcome for all!
- To Challenge, Create innovate and Excite: What makes Macrison really special is we encourage every member of our team to constantly challenge the status quo. We put that into our service for our customers! When you approach Macrison, we know you are not looking for us to do what everyone else does, we know you want us to set you apart! No idea, thought or suggestions is discounted at Macrison – above all else we encourage!
